After many months of planning and coordinating, Bucktail Medical Center (BMC) has reestablished Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance services at the medical center. In coordination with the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services, our ambulance service went live on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 3:00 pm.

We currently have eight people – most are local – on our roster and anticipate adding a few more once they complete their Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Certificate later in June.

We are finalizing funding for the new ambulance and expect to have it here in the next few weeks. Once the new ambulance is here, we will equip and stock the unit for inspection. Once inspected, it will be placed in service.
